Product Review-Nip + Fab

Viper Venom Range

Hey! :)
I'm writing this review because I honestly feel like I'm not able to go back to my previous products after using these! Although they can be seen as quite pricey, they last for a long time since a little goes a long way! I bought mine from Boots but obviously they'll be available elsewhere and it's always good to shop around!

Wrinkle Fix-£19.95
Eye Fix-£14.95
Extreme Night Fix-£19.95

I suppose everyone will have their own technique when it comes to using these sorts of products, but I like to mix a little bit of the wrinkle fix with my 'Simple' moisturiser in the morning before I apply my makeup; even though the wrinkle fix alone does have a refreshing and tightening feeling on your skin once applied, I personally find the bit of residue it leaves behind a nuisance. Since I also don't wear foundation I need a completely smooth/non sticky surface so I can apply my matte powder.

The eye fix I carry around with me everywhere and use it when I feel like my eyes are tired and they need a quick boost! It really does work and I swear it makes eye bags less visible as well!

The extreme night fix I put on before I go to bed and it has the same effect as the wrinkle fix cream. It's very cooling and I feel it has a tightening effect on the skin. And when I wake up my skin feels super soft!

All in all I recommend this range! Even though I'm only 24 and it could be argued that I don't need anti-ageing products; I do think these all genuinely improve the skins condition and make it look a lot brighter.
If you do try out any of these products, please let me know your thoughts :)
They also do another range called 'Dragons Blood' and this has a plumping effect on the skin.
My friend Kourtney uses this range too, just click her name if you'd like to ask her any questions. Or to just have a look at her blog in general, it's great! Just like her! Haha!

The Brat Pack Movies

As mentioned in my first post on this blog, I am a huge fan of 80's movies. In particular the 'Brat Pack' ones. If you haven't seen any of them at all, I have selected my 5 favourites as a way of hopefully encouraging you to watch them yourselves. I am willing to write a full review of any of the films mentioned here or any others that you may have in mind, just drop me a comment or message me on one of my social networks :)

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)
IMDB Rating: 7.9/10
My Rating: 9/10
Might be seen to be an extremely high rating but this film holds a lot of memories for me, I remember watching it on a regular basis with my dad when I was younger and I've grown up with it being a firm favourite of mine!

The Breakfast Club (1985)
IMDB Rating: 7.9/10
My Rating: 8.5/10
Not only do I have a serious crush on Judd Nelson in this movie but I also love how even though it it pretty much set in the one room throughout the entire film, it's still such a good watch! Not to mention the great soundtrack!

The Outsiders (1983)
IMDB Rating: 7.2/10
My Rating: 7.5/10
This was actually the first film of this group that I saw, I actually watched it in school. It was one of those days where the teacher wheeled in the TV and everyone got extremely excited! I could ramble on about this film and each of the others but I'll save my full reviews for separate posts if requested :)

Pretty In Pink (1986)
IMDB Rating: 6.7/10
My Rating: 8/10
Yes, that is a young Jon Cryer on the left...hahaha bless him! Molly Ringwald is one of my all time favourite actresses, I think she's beautiful! This film also has a great soundtrack!

Sixteen Candles (1984)
IMDB Rating: 7.2/10
My Rating: 6.5/10
I would say that out of all of the films this is definitely the cheesiest! But all in all it's still a great watch!

Pretty Little Liars - Who Is A?

Oh really? You don't say!

I've honestly never had a TV show infuriate me this much, as much as I love it!
Every single time you think you know the answer something else comes along and completely ruins whatever theory you may of had!
Season 5, Episode 21 should be on Netflix within the next few hours and although I'd love to ramble on I know that my friend who is still on season 1 (after I forced her to start watching it) is going to read this post and she'll be very annoyed at me if I ruin it!
Basically, my point is that I don't want to have to wait another 5 episodes for them to maybe still not even tell us who it is?! I will be so angry! Hahaha!
Although I can say that I'm convinced that it's Aria...for reasons I will not discuss on here in case of spoilers! And I do think that it would make good viewing if 'A' were one of the main 4!
I am interested in other peoples 'A Theories' though? So if you have any then feel free to comment? And if you're going to be giving any spoilers contact me via one of the social media platforms instead :)

Third year of University (a.k.a Hell)

So I'm now in my third year of Uni, studying Criminology and Law. (time has completely flown!) And I'm currently having to do my dissertation. Fml. 10,000 words needed by the end of March, it may seem like a lot of time...but when you're trying to juggle other things it's not! I've only done 3,000 words so far and the panic has set in. So much so that I feel I definitely shouldn't be writing out this blog post instead of focusing on that...but you know when you're just not in the correct state of mind? That is me today.

It wouldn't be as bad if they weren't giving us other work with overlapping dates to do as well, meaning that I have to keep targeting my focus elsewhere instead of just being able to focus on my dissertation. Ugh.
However if you're reading, don't look at this post as if I'm trying to put you off going to University; I'm definitely not doing that. I'm just having a bad time at the moment (every student has one). I'm trying to juggle all the essays, my job in a restaurant and just general things that are going on in my life right now. Stressed.

University is a great option in my opinion, it's been the best decision I've ever made. Even though it took me a long time to decide! I've made some great friends for life, gained more independence/sense of achievement and finally got away from the troubles I was having at home and since I'm not seeing my family every single day things seem to have settled down a lot. I'm a much happier person because of it.

If anyone is in similar shoes to me I'd like to offer a little bit of help...
I would definitely recommend getting this book to help you with your dissertation. Even though only you'll know exactly what it is that you are writing about this book helps with those little annoyances such as; the layout of your essay, guidelines for what is needed in each section, how to reference correctly and other little tips and tricks to ensure that you get the best grade!

It's £60.00 for a hardcover copy, but if you're anything like me and and you like to write notes inside the book, use post-its to mark pages or fold them down in the corners then the £19.73 paperback option would be much better for you! I also seriously can't bring myself to spend that much on a book that I'm just going to ruin or only use for a short amount of time. The course I'm doing has already taken a lot of my money for other books too, since the Law is constantly changing you always have to make sure you have the newest copy of each book! The library at my campus does have this book but as mentioned above, I'm a note-taker! Haha :)

Although it says on the cover that it covers applied social science subjects, the majority of my friends...even those who aren't studying a social science have been using my book and they've all said that it's helped them a lot!
There is also a companion website which is also a great help if you can't get the book.

I understand I probably couldn't have picked a more boring topic to write about, but I wanted to vent a bit of my stress and share something that I find to be really helpful! You know, just in case anyone else is in the same boat as me!

So...

I was made to get myself one of these by my dear friend Kourtney, well...not really forced into it so to speak but seeing how well she's been doing with her own blog and how she seems to have found a perfect place to speak about her ideas/show her creativity and also as a place for her to let go of some of her anger has all been very inspirational to me.

Hence why I've decided to finally make one for myself, under the same name as my Tumblr
Let's keep this simple yeah? I'm a novice at this! ;)
So, about me; well I'm currently doing a degree in Criminology and Law, so expect to see posts in which I am having a stress due to the amount of work I'm having to do in this nightmare that they call 'Third Year' !! I also work part-time in an American Diner, secretly love Knitting, openly adore 80's movies and music and have a severe weakness for guys with beards and tattoos.

It's currently nearly 6am, I fell asleep stupidly early last night after having two drunken nights out recently and then staying up all night in order to watch The Oscars recently. Feel I should mention how pleased I am that Eddie Redmayne won! I absolutely loved 'The Theory Of Everything' and he had the cutest acceptance speech! Completely deserved!

So because I've woken up at stupid o'clock; I've made myself a brew and thought maybe now was the time to get started on my blog? Hopefully it goes well...thanks to anyone who read this! :)
